Covid 19 Safety Measures

Your safety is our priority!

We are operating in compliance to an Industry Covid Safe Plan for Tourism Businesses.

**Please note from Dec 17, 2021, as a tourism business and mandated by the Qld government, we may only accommodate double vaccinated guests.
Our Approach
We have action plans in place to maintain a clean and healthy environment for all of our guests on board KOA. We take our responsibility for your health and safety seriously. We also acknowledge that this is a cooperative approach, one that we would ask all our passengers to comply with directions.
our vessel
The vessel thoroughly cleaned at the end of the day from top to bottom with detergent and water. Handrails, seats and internal surfaces are then also disinfected with commercial grade disinfectant. We also have hand sanitiser available on the boat for use throughout the day.
Luke has taken his current flu shot and will also take the vaccine once it becomes available.
Your responsibility
Pre arrival

Guests also have a responsibility to inform us in advance and at the earliest opportunity if they or any member of their party is:
1. Unwell.
2. Isolating because they are at risk of becoming unwell with Covid-19.
3. From a designated Covid-19 Hot Spot.
Regrettably this will mean that member of your group may not attend, and, if he or she has been in contact with all of your party, the rescheduling of your trip.

Upon Arrival

Upon arrival guests will sign in using the Check In Qld app. You can download the app to your device here and pre-enter your contact information and which simplifies the check-in process on board.

By checking in with the app you are declaring your health and recent contacts such to participate in the charter. Guests displaying symptoms will be asked to disembark immediately.

Please note: Our team complete the same health screening and undergo regular temperature and and symptom monitoring. All crew have also completed Covid-19 training as per our Covid Safe Plan.

On Board

It is important to us to be able to continue to provide once-in-a-lifetime fishing experiences for our guests. Please help us to manage the health and safety of your fellow anglers by cooperating with the measures outlined above. Do the same things for us that you are doing to keep your own friends and family healthy and well!

This includes frequent hand sanitising, covering your nose and mouth when you need to cough or sneeze (sneeze in the crook of your arm or a clean tissue) and observe the rules for physical distancing (1.5m where possible).

We look forward to welcoming you on board.  Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us at kelly@lukefallonsportfishing.com.au.
